Getting Started with Julia on ACI

Instructions for Completing Labs via ICS ACI Portal

  1. Setup Julia kernel to work with ICS-ACI (only needs to be done once per user)
  2. Start a Jupyter Notebook session on ACI
  3. Clone your Github Repository on ACI (only need to do once per assignment)
  4. Test your code
  5. Commit your work and push to Github
  6. Submit your work via Github pull request
  7. Review the feedback on your submission

Start a Jupyter notebook session on ACI

Each time in the future you want to start a Jupyter notebook session on ICS-ACI


Clone your github repository to begin a new assignment

Labs 1-3:

cd REPO_DIR
julia -e 'using Pkg; cd("test"); Pkg.activate("."); Pkg.instantiate(); '

Labs >=4:

cd REPO_DIR
julia -e 'using Pkg; Pkg.activate("."); Pkg.instantiate(); '
